Major Breakthroughs – Bio medical field

  • Indigenously developed Defibrillators, monitors, Central nursing stations released first time in India (BPL).
  • Reduced field failure rate from 20% to 0.1% and internal mortality rates from 7% to 0.1%
  • Traveled extensively to hospitals throughout India to establish the products
  • Setting up of Pricol Medical systems & instrumental in converting PC based system to embedded systems for Ventilator project (Pricol)

Major Breakthroughs in Textile electronics

  • Establishing the R&D division right from ground 0.
  • Release of 3 new products within one year of establishing R&D. Overall launched 7 indigenously developed products over 5 years.
  • Contribution to 65% of company turnover from products developed
  • Organized a successful vendor conference for first time
  • Instrumental in getting ISO 9000 certification from BVQI
  • Played a vital role in recruiting and training of engineers for all the departments

Major Breakthroughs Automotive electronics

  • Setting up of the electronics development department from scratch & 10 engineers to 100 engineers
  • Managed the department with high efficiency inspite of 20 to 25% attrition rates.
  • Contribution to more than 60% of turnover from products developed under the electronics department
  • Interaction and active participation in bringing industry & institute coordination – got Rs. 70 lakhs sanction for Pricol for the sensor project from ADA along with IITk & IISC.
  • Introduced software special software testing tools like QAC, RTRT.
  • Introduced an indigenous product with CAN communication for the first time in automobile sector in India
  • Successful participation in Design reviews at John Deere(USA) and Denso (Japan) for critical projects
  • Registration of 30 IPRs over 2 years including PCT applications as head of IPR cell
