BS Information Technology

The Information Technology programme is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in core computing and information systems while progressively developing in-depth expertise in enterprise technologies, software applications, and networked systems. The curriculum seamlessly integrates fundamentals of programming, data management, computer networks, operating systems, and web technologies with advanced studies in database systems, software engineering, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and IT infrastructure management. The programme emphasizes modern IT tools, system administration, application development, and service-oriented architectures, along with exposure to emerging technologies such as big data platforms, Internet of Things (IoT), virtualization, blockchain, and digital transformation frameworks.

Students gain extensive practical experience through computing laboratories, industry-oriented projects, and hands-on training in areas such as web and mobile application development, cloud and server technologies, network administration, DevOps practices, and enterprise information systems.Alongside technical competence, the programme focuses on analytical problem-solving, systems integration, project and service management, IT governance, information security standards, and technology lifecycle management, ensuring graduates are well prepared to design, implement, manage, and secure robust information systems and contribute effectively to technology-driven organizations across IT services, software enterprises, cloud platforms, and advanced digital ecosystems.
