The programme emphasizes modern design, analysis, and simulation tools, system integration, and data-driven engineering approaches, along with exposure to medical device design, clinical engineering, healthcare informatics, rehabilitation engineering, and regulatory standards for medical technologies. Students gain extensive practical experience through well-equipped laboratories, interdisciplinary projects, and industry- and hospital-oriented training in areas such as biomedical signal processing, medical imaging systems, wearable and implantable devices, power electronics for medical applications, automation in healthcare, and smart diagnostic systems.
